Starboard iSonic – Ultimate Slalom Racing performance boards
These new iSonic designs further the evolution of Starboards hugely successful 2016 race boards. Starboards design team developed 9 new shapes (117 size unchanged) with an the emphasis on keeping the same top and average board speeds (2016) while developing more comfortable and quicker jibing qualities. These iSonics feature new rounder tail shapes, wider tail section surface area, reduction in size of tail cuts outs, smaller secondary step, new V distribution throughout the hull, continuation of the “Low-Nose” concept, Thin hull structure profiles and deck concaves. The 2017 Starboard iSonics board range provide; faster racing, quicker acceleration, fastest average and top speed performance, increased control, faster jibing/exit acceleration and improved constructions for even more reduction in weight and performance. These are your ultimate slalom racing performance boards for 2017.

Construction Options: UltraCore Hybrid Carbon – Starboard expanded the UltraCore innovation to the iSonics. The new UltraCore Carbon models come in at the same weight to 100g lighter than last year’s Carbon model. These boards are stiffened up between rider’s back foot and the mast foot pressure, with four smart-carbon vectors on the deck and a full Carbon Innegra perimeter band.
